The Alexa Rank Enhancer (ARE) is a desktop program which uses 'proxy' ip addresses to send 'hits' to your website or websites. To use, download the zip file to your desktop. Once unzipped it has an automatic installation. Once installed, set up ARE by going through 3 screens:
1. Add url:
You can load unlimited number of links. Use the full url. Example: http://xtreammembers.com
2a. Choose number of Ports:
Drop down box 1 - 15.
2b. Choose a proxy list:
You can use the Default list, or choose a list you have placed on your computer.
3. Start
It runs in the backround and sends hits to your sites as long as you are connected to the Internet.
Note:
Alexa Rank Enhancer - ARE - uses proxy addresses to send hits from your computer to your websites. N/A means the proxy is no longer valid or available. Reduce the number of N/A by using a fresh proxy list on a regular basis. These are websites which offer free proxy lists:HMA, Text Proxy List. and Proxy-List.
Save the ip addresses only to a text document. In section 2 of ARE, go to Browse and then choose the doc you created that has the current proxy list. ARE will then run off that list rather than the default list.
While Alexa Rank Enhancer - ARE - was developed specifically to help improve your site ranking with Alexa - a business and industry Search Engine ranking service owned by Amazon.com - it works across the internet and with all engines; especially with Google.
