Just as there are many ways to market your business offline, online there are thousands, if not millions of places to do so as well. What ever your business, whether a distributor, a program owner, or an affiliate with a program like Xtream Global, you want to use as many avenues as possible to expose your business to as many people as possible. Whether you want to reach the Global Market or concentrate in your local area, you will still want to use many different types of internet advertising specialties. Whether you have the limited computer basic skills or are a computer savvy internet marketer, you want to advertise on the internet. Online advertising venues tend to fall into two major catagories:
This type of advertising involves using tools and perfoming activities which are highly specialized and designed to drive your websitesup in the Search Engines so people can find your when they do key word searches. Using traffic exchanges and Rank Enhancers, posting to FFA pages and permanent links and classified ad boards are all examples of specialized venues which create hits or send traffic to your sites dramatically increase your presence in the Engines.
Many detractors of some venues, FFA postings in particular, claim these venues do not work stating "no one ever sees your sites." They are misleading you on a half-truth, usually to sell you into some other program. People most likely will not see your ads on temporary link boards, but the Engines will! These venues are NOT email marketing tools. To get people to hopefully open and read your emails, use email marketing venues.
Some even state the Engines ignore or penalize you for using FFA postings. They do not. In our experience and studies since 2004, our team has experienced major results using the blasters found on this site. When we stop posting to FFA sites, we all have also experienced major DROPS in our overall rankings.
Again, detractors tend to be attempting to SELL you into something else - sell being the operative word. Our purpose in the Resource Center is not to become involved in these debates but to educate you as to what tools exist, how the benefit your advertising efforts and then how to best use them to your advantage.
Link Marketing is not an Email Marketing technique. All it is designed to do is send massive traffic to your website or provide mega linking. For reaching people's inboxes, you use resources designed specifically for that purpose.
We endorse the use of opt-in venues which allow you to send your Email ads to the members of those sites. Safelists, submitters, safeadlists, Yahoo Groups, adblasters, some downline builders are all examples of Email or email style marketing. We do not endorse, or even condone, using spam techniques.
Email marketing can be quite effective - if done properly. Success depends mostly on your Subject Line and then ad content. The goal is to get the reader to your Site for more information and the encouragement to buy, join, or sign up for whatever it is you are promoting.
Email Marketing is not an effective Search Engine or Link Marketing technique. For SE results, use the tools listed in the RC designed for that purpose.
