When I was 15, I went through most of my school year without talking to people. I had become very shy and was also reacting to catastrophic events going on at home and with me personally. In time, some wonderful teachers, counselors, and even some peers and their family members helped me overcome my shyness and issues speaking.
If I can overcome it, so can each of you. At Xtreamglobal we have set up a support system among friends and colleagues. Use the time in sessions and workshops to step up to the Microphone in the Rooms and practice speaking. Express yourself. Ask questions. Share your experiences. We not only want to hear from you, we need to!

Most of us dislike no. I know I hate it. However, listen to what Malcolm is teaching you regarding a No. You are using No to sort through your contacts and prospects. As he says, we are in the Sorting business, not the Convincing business. Every No you should thank and celebrate. Keep calling….you are one call closer to that YES!

Practicing vs Performance:
Practicing reading from Malcolm's scripts gives YOU the opportunity to get comfortable with them. Practice does make perfect however PERFORMANCE is the defining moment. I have been a public speaker, trainer and even a performer myself for many years. I found you could practice until you thought it was perfect, only to find flaws in the perfomance. Use the Scripts training sessions to your best advantage. Come to the mic and PERFORM.
