Traffic Exchanges like XtreamSurf are internet advertising specialties which 'drive traffic' to your sites. They are good for both the beginning online marketer as well as the most computer savvy internet advertiser for a number of reasons:

Hits are generated as members surf the exchange. This is called 'traffic.' Hits occur to YOUR site when it appears on the surfbar. In many cased, when you surf you do not see your own site - you view other members sites. When other members surf, they will see yours and drive traffic - or hits - to it for you. Do note however, when YOU surf you rotate sites so that the next site in que is sent to the surfbar. This means that while you may not view or send traffic to your own site, you help the overall process in a very positive and dynamic way! WHY MARKET ON EXCHANGES WITH THE SAME LINKS AS YOURS?

This is an excellent question! The answer is two-fold

1. People need to see sites usually many times to respond. You want yours in the mix:

Studies show that people need to 'see' or 'hear' or 'read about' sites many times, usually a minimum of 5 times, before they respond. Sometimes a site will push their buttons and people will respond in less time. You want you site in front of that person when that decision to respond is made.

2. Whether or not PEOPLE (or Human Eyes) see your link - the Search Engine ROBOT EYES do:

A person may or may not saw your site. For sure the Search Engine did. Your link is entered into the traffic exchange database. Each time it is brought up by the Exchange script and appears on the Surf it is as though someone actually 'clicked' on your link. This is one of the things which make exchanges so very powerfull!

To begin your Traffic exchange portfolio, join the six Xtream Traffic Exchanges. Once you have validated your email and can log in. Note if you do not validate your email, you cannot log in. The script will not recognize you. If you missed your validation link, find the Resend Activation Link Icon and resend it to yourself. Also note: you may notice a "we are not accepting memberships from..." and then a little flag or flags. Those are countries we do not accept members from due to excessive abuse from members of that country.

Once you have joined, email Admin at each exchange for your upgrade. Provide Admin with your Xtream Subscription ID and your exchange name or the email address you used to join the venues. When you add your sites, please remember to also add credits. Sites without credits will not show on the surf, you must add them first. Minimum is 100, recomend more.

Manual surf = you must click on something to move on to the next site

Auto surf = the exchange does that for you automatically - no clicking

Manual surf tends to be better for page HUMAN EYES

Auto surf tends to be more effective for SEARCH ENGINES

Sound usually slows the surf and is oftentimes not allowed

FORCED DOWNLOAD or DIALOG BOXES make you click on something to continue - not allowed usually

ADD CREDITS TO YOUR SITES!

When you join an exchange you are given a set amount of credits which go onto your "Account." Credits must then be assigned to each website you want to run on the surfbar. Credits are what fuel your site. Sites without credits do not show on the surf. Once you do that:

SURF!

Surfing is the lifeblood of an exchange. As you surf you view other member websites, rotate the sites and create hits for their webpages. As THEY surf, the same is done for you. Hits depend entirely on the surfing habits of the membership. The more you surf, the more hits are generated. Surfing is easily accomplished and can be done in seperate windows and inconjunction with other activities - such as reading or responding to email, doing your online marketing like postiing an ad to a safe list and etc.

Join exchanges to drive visitors and traffic to your sites, then surf to help that process along.

Once your sites are tested by Admin, as long as they have minimum 100 credits assigned to them, they will appear on the surf 24/7. As members surf, they view and rotate sites. Hits are created each time a site appears on the surfbar. To assist this process, be sure that you surf. Daily for best results. We highly recommend you add 1,000 or more credits to each site once you have been upgraded. Check your sites on a regular basis to ensure they have credits assigned to them.
